CONTEXT

This project was part of several mock UI consulting projects throughout the semester for a Computer Interface Design class.

All of these projects were within 2 to 3 weeks - these rapid projects gave me almost real world practices and strengthen my visual / UI design skills.

These projects also allowed me to play with my creativity and see how other students interpreted the project differently and how the differently the outcome could be based on a students' visual ideas.

As part of a mock UI consulting project for the Computer Interface Design class, I designed a user interface for passengers to interact with during their ride on ZOOX. ZOOX is an alternative option to rideshare and a fully autonomous vehicle.

ABOUT ZOOX

This specific consulting project was "for" ZOOX, a fully autonomous rideshare vehicle.

The ZOOX team needed a UI/UX designer to design an interface that passengers could interact during their ride.

RESULTS

By the end of the project, I created a high-fidelity prototype.

Prototype 1 (August 2023) —> high-fidelity prototype.

Prototype 2 (Dec 2025) —>

After re-reviewing the project, I analyzed and realized the gaps within my own design and skills. So, I iterated and refined the designs to see where my current skills and experience could take these designs (also in general, the new features and upgrades that Figma now has, the capabilities of prototyping is much more than when I first completed this project).

PROCESS

This project was broken down into 3 phases, with feedback from the professors and TAs after each phase.
